Little Disappointing

New 2011 Suzuki swift

Now earlier we said that in our top 5 cute ass wipers, the Suzuki Swift is great.
So how’s life in the new one?
Well... It says it all in the title of this post. Disappointing.
Why do we say that?
  1.       Its ugly
  2.        It’s stupid
  3.        Its slow (or at least the one we tested)
  4.        It’s got a hanger on the back of the passenger’s seat to hang you suit. Which we don’t get? If you    hang your suit or anything there it will hang on the floor, it’s not like the floor of your car is dirty or anything? What was wrong with the roof hangers in the first place?
  5.        Keyless entry is now old and just became annoying in the swift... Yes you might think it’s cool but it takes away the fun of pressing buttons and how do you know if it’s really locked? Suzuki said that you can press the button on the door handle to lock it but then why couldn’t they just leave it up to the remote to lock?
  6.     The engine sounds boring.

Now you might think I’m just in a bad mood... Yes it’s true I am but only because I just drove the Suzuki. To look at the good things we see there are plenty, it is crammed full of things you want like a start/stop engine button, automatic climate control, 8-airbags, power steering with steering assist, ABS and the list goes on.
Now we can talk about the best part of the car... Its handling. This car is even better than the old one when it comes to going around bends. It feels so good, so well put together and stable. If you buy one all you would want to do is throw it around circles and S-curves.
Now the interior from a driver’s side is quite good. It’s a nice place to sit in, not if you’re a passenger though. Which tells me one thing, this is a wonderful drivers car.
Now you might be wondering, why have I said it is a disappointment?
Well, the price isn’t it... at around R160 000.00 it’s cheap for what you get. My Disappointment came from when I found out that to get one is hard. You see if you are new to the world of employment and you are looking for the perfect run-around-fun car, the Suzuki might be perfect but with no big deposit or trade in car you are looking at paying over R3300pm... Which I couldn’t understand.
That is why I’m disappointed, one of the best driver’s cars get let down by money hungry corporations.
