People have been talking about it since its release, the new BMW 1 series. A swift 3 door Coupé. It's a recipe for success with people who love driving. The 135i has been the focus of the range because it is so fast and stylish. BMW have made an M version. Yes it is as fantastic as you just thought. Although it won't be called the M1 because we think that it's not a replacement for the original M1 that was built many many years ago. It is called the BMW 1 series M Coupé, which we admit is a mouth-full to explain to your friends.

If you had to arrive in one, only real BMW lovers will know it is the M coupé without you telling them as the styling is very subtle. Which is a good thing. It has minor changes to the bumpers and side skirts and of course there will be M badges around.

The only real way of telling that it is a M coupé is the engine, oh yes. A twin turbo straight six that produces 250kw and a 0-100km/h time of 4.9sec. Quite beefy as well with 450Nm of torque. A true bottle rocket then.

Dynamically the car should be like heaven with its dynamic mode and DSC. It has a differential locking system that will keep you going even on ice. Compound discs, this car just has everything you want in a sports car.

This car will be one of the most exciting in 2011 we just know it!
