Lets destroy everything!! SLS AMG Brabus edition

If you just got yourself a SLS AMG and your not quite happy with the performance for some or other reason, you most likely have brain issue. Don't worry, the problem now has a cure.

Mercedes-Benz have given there gull-wing to the tunning company, Brabus. Yes you have heard of them. They are the ones who Bi-turbo every thing, even there rocking chairs at home. They always produce comical amounts of power from there cars. They have even tuned the smart car, to kill anything that is a challenge at the lights. Basically if you want to blow up China and annex Egypt, if you want to hold up the USA and defeat the Spanish at football. If you really want more from your SLS, then the good news is to come.

Brabus have lightened the car. They have special exhaust technology were you can choose how loud and mad you want the car to sound. Unique mags that are extremely light. The engine is still under development. I'm sure by looking at the history of Brabus, the engine will be powerfull enough to go back in time.

This will be an astonishing machine. Keep your eye out for it. Or it might just bite your head off.

Goodbye Citi. Verry good Ad for a legend.

Lets look back at the last ever advert of the citi golf. We in S.A have been buying it since 84' and finally after 25 years on 21 August 2009 the last one was made. This is the tribute advert to the last ever Citi Golf.

We will never forget it.

The Polo Vivo is its successor. It has humongous shoes to fill.

From the first view the Vivo is bad. It just doesn't have that thing, that factor that made the Citi so popular. I think that the Citi can never be replaced and so Volkswagen should kill off the Vivo because its not going to work. Besides the name Vivo is even worse then the car.

Aston Martin DBS Volante

This is quite gorgeous. Beyond anything I have ever seen. Aston Martin does is again.

Now Aston Martin have become famous by there beautifully crafted machines. We will never forget the DB4 and the DB7 Zegato. Not forgetting that this is the car most chosen by the worlds biggest Secret Agent, all the girls want him in the back seat. Yes James Bond cannot resist this beauty that Aston achieves.

Coming back to the DBS, It was Aston's Racier version of the DB9. So It still keeps that gorgeous face but gains a bit more power. Yes it might have more nostrils and cuts but just look at what they have done! It's a DBS with it's roof cut off.

Its called the DBS Volante, It brings all the glamor back to the DBS. Its the just so amazing. It is an event. Most convertibles tend only to be about the glamor. With the DBS Volante, it's all about speed as well.

Its a 6.0-liter V12! That chucks out 380kW.
0-100km/h is dealt within 4.3sec.

This is a GT car that flies like a super car. On top of all that you can have the roof down and the wind in your ears.

Just before you think this is a car still from old Britain then think again. It has i-pod connectivity and a bang'n sound system.

It is amazing and it just makes me excited to see the future of motoring.

VW Amarok... Is it any good?

Now when you hear the word bakkie, you think straight away of the Hilux or the Ranger and Isuzu.
When you mention hatchback or Hitler you think of Volkswagen.
So what happens when you mix the two words? Bakkie and Volkswagen?...
You get this. The new Volkswagen Amarok.

Now we can see it came along in the Golf 6 era as its looks are basically the same. As being German it would be nicely built, and wonderful engines. The thing is, as a South African, I know a bakkie is important in our lives. As a start we actually use them as a hard working tool. To be a new boy is always a handicap.

We wont know the success of this bakkie till we try it and see if put against a Hilux that it can at least be any good. What I don't get is didn't VW do there research? I mean why a bakkie? We already have our best buy.
Looking at the positive is that the Amarok at its top of the range is cheaper then the Hilux, with it being just under R400 000.00

VW say that its not just tough but smart as well. Till we get one in our hands we will have to wait and see.

Full specs and road test will be added later.

The new Stig has arrived

Mercedes-Benz S-Class S63 AMG

Do you want some facts on this executive monster?

  • 395Kw
  • 5.5l V8
  • 0-100Kph 4.5sec
  • Limited to 250KPH but unlimited I'm sure it will go really fast
This is a very serious car for serious people that make serious amounts of money.

Its such an appealing car.
I can almost guarantee that it will feature in a rap video soon. One of the amazing features of this car is that it is GREEN. Yes the engine was designed to use 25% less fuel and push out 30% less emissions.

Mercedes has truly out done them selves with S63. I must say the looks are plain Benz style But with those wheels you know not to try it at the robot.

Mercedes went even more berserk so they madr a Performance pack where your engine will throw out 419KW and has a top speed of 300KPH limited.

We will be keeping an eye out on this car, and when it is available. It is a monster and a half.

Pagani Zonda F

Few people know about the super car makers, Pagani. It is a Italian car manufacturer and they are just as bonkers as Lambo's were back in the days. Ever since Audi took over Lamborghini, a sense of order came to the Italian world of super machines. Ferrari always is about speed and performance where Lambo used to be about guns coming out and blowing the finish line up. Thankfully, some Italians just had to bring the lunacy back to the super car. So Pagani was established.

They make the fantastic Zonda F. If you watch the video you will see just how mad the Pagani people are. Its there video from THERE site.

The car has four exhaust pipes like a batman car at the back. The side mirrors are above your head and the sound of it sounds like world war 10!!!

The specs are even more astonishing with a 7.2 V12 Mercedes AMG engine developing 443kw.
This will blast you to 100km/h in.. 3.6 sec! And carry on going to 200km/h in 9.8 sec. You will just keep on flying till 354km/h.

Those numbers are just too much to truly understand. Just imagine it has light. from the word 'go', your there.
Sadly I cant get the price, but I'm sure it will be in the millions.

Nothing is like it. It is fantastic in all ways I can think of.

Bugatti Veyron Lake Crash

No it didn't go in the water. It just accelerated so fast it seemed like it went in the water.

Alfa Romeo MiTo

This is one of my favorite little cars on the market now. The Alfa Romeo MiTo is a very attractive mini.
Its looks are based on the absolutely gorgeous Alfa Romeo 8C.
Unlike small hatchbacks this car doesn't come cheap at a hefty R227 900.00 for the MiTo Progression which is the base model. The engine is the most attracting part of the car with its award winning Multi-Air system.
The interior is true italiano. The the dash board looking amazing. I saw a red MiTo with a CarbonFiber finish on the dash. It comes with Alfa D.N.A system aswel. To rap it up, this car is beautiful in all ways except the price. I thought the FIAT 500c was the ultimate mini. Now I'm not so sure anymore.
